About Samantha Dove
Hello Love,
I’m Samantha Dove. Yoga teacher, Reiki master, and founder of Love by Dove. My work is devoted to helping people reconnect to their bodies, awaken their energy, and experience intimacy as a source of healing and joy.
I started Love by Dove back in 2019, having just graduated with an undergrad degree in law. The original plan was go to law school, and work in corporate law, I want to both provide for myself and make an impact. Being a corporate lawyer would only achieve one of those goals. I knew If I wanted to make an impact I wasn’t going to be able to do it within the pre-existing system, it would require enough capital to influence the system from the outside. So instead of law school I started my own corporation.
I didn’t have an exact plan for where it would lead. I just knew I wanted to help people come home to themselves and do something I truly enjoyed doing.
Some days I still can’t believe how far it’s grown. We’re now a team of three and have clients joining from so many corners of the world. I get to guide people through moments that change them, remembering their own power to heal themselves. Whether it’s in a Reiki training, nude yoga session or one of my more intimate offerings. That feeling will never stop being surreal.
During the pandemic, something beautiful happened inside this work. Science shows that when you touch your own skin, your brain releases the same chemical (oxytocin) that rises when you touch someone you love. That simple truth carried so many people through long nights and isolated uncertain days. It reminded us that connection lives inside the body too, not only in the space between two people.
I’m grateful that I get to do this work. I’m grateful that it continues to find the people who need it. And I’m grateful that Love by Dove still feels like something I am genuinely excited to wake up and do every day. I love how this work keeps evolving, opening in ways I never expected.
