YOGA 4 CONSTIPATION/DIGESTION (No Need 4 Coffee)

Instead of being like Dwight and pouring this hot coffee all over your internal organs, try these 2 EASY SIMPLE yoga poses to KICKSTART your morning digestion.

Sorry if this is TMI but my grandfather died of constipation. Therefore I am passionate about this taboo or uncomfortable topic. It is important for us to get to know our own bodies and understand their functions.


The best part is that you can do all of these poses while still in bed!


POSE #1 THE TWIST * hold each side 30seconds-2minutes*

In Sanskrit: Jathara Parivartanasana


Benefits: Improves Posture

Massages internal organs

Stretches hips and glutes

Increase blood flow to digestive systems


Repeat on the other side.


POSE # 2 Melting Heart/Puppy Pose

In Sanskrit: Uttana Shishosana


Benefits: lengthens spine

Opens shoulders and back

Kickstarts digestion due to abdomen position

Relaxes entire body

You can really feel your bowels moving in this pose.


Now if you have not already gone to the washroom, go and have some breakfast and notice how much easier your digestion flows after doing these 2 simple poses!
